No a Garage Gym Investment Its a health Investment

You pay what you get. This power Rack with the Ares 2. 0 is of pristine quality. Period.

Yes, it is pretty expensive, but it is worth it overall. You will pay more in health care in the next 10 years than the initial cost and benefits of a gym life.

This triggered my decision to invest. It is not about the looks or the muscles; it is about the benefits of having a complete gym at the same distance from my refrigerator and my sofa.

Now, I use it every day, and I can see that I'm using it more and more.

Kudos to the REP team and the designers.

Built like a tank, and perfect for my needs

After doing exhaustive research on the newest crop of power racks with integrated functional trainers, the Ares 2. 0 consistently made it to the top my list of value versus cost. I do fairly simple PPL routine at home, and this setup covers 90% of my needs in the smallest footprint I can find.

Having everything in one place translates to a huge time-saver for my workouts -- even with accessory lifts, I can usually button up a workout in 45-50 minutes. The cable travel is smoother and more consistent than any home-gym functional trainer I've tested on the market, and rivals even may commercial-level equipment I've used as well. The fit and finish on this setup is best I've encountered yet.

I've heard rumors of Rep prototyping further attachments to complement the system, specifically with more leg isolation exercises, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they can come up with next.

Every system is always going to have to have a compromise here or there, but as far as I can tell, this is the most compromise-free system out there.

Overall fantastic, just one comment. . . .

I wanted to start off by saying that the Ares 2. 0 (and PR-5000 rack) is a fantastic piece of equipment. To echo many of the other reviews, it is solidly built and offers a lot of great features. From an equipment and functionality perspective, five stars, no question.

The room for improvement comes from the packaging perspective. Everything is extremely well packed and arrived without any issues. Kudos to the packaging engineers. The build instructions are also great and make it easy to put together. My complaint is that after finishing putting everything together, I had five garbage bags of plastic and styrofoam, a crate, a pallet, and a literal car load of cardboard to deal with. I understand that this is part of the deal in building a big and complicated piece of gym equipment, but would it be possible to cut down on some of the plastic, styrofoam, or other pack materials and replace it with a more sustainable option?

    Great functional trainer!!!

Wow great purchase well spent glad I went with this one vs others since this comes with lat and low row I don’t need to get it separately which would take up more space. Great quality product especially the pulleys very smooth for sure easy to install I would say the shrouds on the back if you can install a welded nut on the bottom no way I can go to back especially if it’s again the wall to tighten. Everything else is great. Also great customer service working with me.

Sturdy and well designed Power Rack

Expensive, Yes! But you pay for what you get.

I finished my 16+41 + Ares 2. 0 cable system. So far, everything works perfectly, and the customer service is top-notch.

Multiple colors to design, no problem with color matching
