Every box I opened to assemble this I was shocked at the quality of the products and the packaging. Not a single bit of chipped paint, everything was wrapped in bubble wrap with a few pieces of tape making unwrapping it simple. Assembly instructions were very simple to follow with only a single error where they label the nut as the bolt and bolt as the nut on one page. Most difficult part of assembly was finding the massive 36mm tools. I’d prefer Rep sells an “assembly tool kit” with all sockets/wrenches required at a up charge to their cost, just to make things simple and you KNOW you have all the tools you need.

I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to build home gym. The help line was awesome! They’re helpful and personable. I’ll be checking Rep Fitness for all my needs before looking anywhere else.

Trust me, you’ll only have to buy this once. Buy quality once and never think about it again.

Even though I can not lift and may never need the extra stack I do not want to add it later and it gives me a piece of mind knowing it’s heavy and I don’t have to bolt anything down. Quality is great we love it so far.

Granted this is the only functional trainer I own but from the vast research I’ve done, I feel confident I found the one. I started putting it together by myself on a Tuesday evening and had it put fully together by Saturday morning. I was only able to work on it in the evenings after work but starting Wednesday after I had my young son and wife help me. Some reviewers had difficulty setting this up but I actually found it fairly simple, just time consuming and definitely a 3 person job if possible.

As far as the trainer goes, I absolutely love!! I’ve been missing out on so many exercises because truly hate going to the gym. I did get the extra weight package which I don’t technically need yet but it’s better to have it now than have to add it later, which would be incredibly inconvenient to take this apart to add weight. Please get the extra weight, you won’t regret it and it adds stability to your trainer.

I give the entire setup 5 plus stars although I can’t understand why they send you with such horrible D-handles. After spending over $4,000 on this I really think they should have provided chrome handles which they could still correct this travesty by sending chrome handles to everyone who has ordered this unit.
