Build your storage system with the Ball & Plate Storage Shelf. The shelf is versatile and can hold bumper plates or balls, such as medicine balls and slam balls. This shelf is sturdy and heavy duty, made from 2x2” 11-gauge steel with a weight capacity of 600lbs. You can fit up to 13 REP 45lb Black Bumper Plates (2.4” width) on a single 41” shelf, with the usable space being 39.5”. This storage unit features laser-cut holes for future attachments, such as dividers. It is easy to mount to your system with a bolt-on design.
The shelf has a high-quality, metallic black powder-coat finish. The Ball & Plate Storage Shelf is aesthetic, with a laser-cut REP logo for a premium look. It is designed to fit perfectly within the footprint of your PR-4000 or PR-5000 power rack, offering a seamless and integrated storage solution. You may also build off to the side of your existing PR-4000 or PR-5000 power rack and connect the 41” Ball & Plate Storage shelf to a new 60” upright, integrate it into the barbell station of your rig, or purchase it with a stand-alone storage unit.

The original system is made with 2x2” steel, while the new system is made with 3x3” steel tubing to optimize stability. It is available for the 4000 and 5000 series (with 5/8” or 1” hole sizing) and has various shelving and spacing options. This system can achieve true modularity by serving as an extension of your power rack or a stand-alone piece. It is powdered coated and made with 11-gauge steel. New system (2.0) components are not compatible with the original Modular Storage System.
We cannot guarantee compatibility due to machining/manufacturing differences between companies.
The Ball & Plate Storage is compatible with our 4000 and 5000 series racks and rigs and can attach to the uprights. The 41” length makes them fit within the footprint of your PR-4000 or PR-5000 rack or within the barbell station of a rig. Original PR-4000 uprights (hole spacing on the sides of the uprights: 2" at base and top, 6" everywhere else besides the REP cutout) will require Elbow Brackets to mount on the front or back of the uprights.
Each shelf can hold three medicine balls at a time.
You can store up to 13 45lb REP Competition Bumper Plates per shelf. When using 45lb REP Pinnacle Plates, you can store up to 12. When using the Black Bumper Plates, you can store up to 13.
You can store up to four REP 5-30lb Slam Balls or 3 REP 35-70lb Slam Balls per 41” shelf.
This in-rack system will work with the Athena™ as long as you purchase Elbow Brackets to extend from the back of the rack. This will not work with the Lat/Low Row or the Ares™ attachment due to the area they will reside in, unless you decide to build out off your rack.
