Metallic Black Powder Coat

The original system is made with 2x2” steel, while the new system is made with 3x3” steel tubing to optimize stability. It is available for 4000 and 5000 series racks (with 5/8” or 1” hole sizing) and has various shelving and spacing options. This system can achieve true modularity by serving as an extension of your power rack or a stand-alone piece. It is powdered coated and made with 11-gauge steel. New system (2.0) components are not compatible with the original Modular Storage System.

We cannot guarantee compatibility due to machining/manufacturing differences between companies.

Each shelf has a usable area of 3.13 sq feet. It will depend on the size of the kettlebells, and the orientation you choose to store them (single or staggered). You can stagger pairs of 8-18kg(6 pairs), pairs of 10-20kg(6 pairs), pairs of 16-22kg(4 pairs), pairs of 20-24kg(3 pairs), pairs of 22-28kg(3 pairs), pairs of 24-32kg(3 pairs), pairs of 36-40kg(2 Pairs), or pairs of 44-48kg(2 pairs) of REP kettlebells on a single shelf.

This in-rack system will work with the Athena as long as you purchase Elbow Brackets and Mini Front Foot Extensions to extend from the back of the rack. This will not work with the Lat Pulldown and Low Row or Ares attachment due to the area they will reside in, unless you decide to build out off your rack.

Yes, you could store accessories, or other flat-bottomed items on the Flat Storage Shelf.

Original PR-4000 uprights (hole spacing on the sides of the uprights: 2" at base and top, 6" everywhere else besides the REP cutout) will require Elbow Brackets to mount on the front or back of the uprights. The 41" Flat Storage Shelves add 3" to the overall depth of an upright. (This is past the upright foot plate. Upright footplate adds 1.5")
