If you're looking for a larger more robust functional trainer, check out our FT-5000 2.0.

OVERVIEW
The FT-3000 2.0 Compact Functional Trainer is a highly versatile cable machine that’s compact enough for a home gym but with full, commercial-grade capabilities. The FT-3000 2.0 features 21 cable positions and dual weight stacks that each top out at 187lbs with a 2:1 ratio (100lbs feels like 50lbs), or 374lbs total (feels like 187lbs). The trolley is slimmer and lighter than ever before -- with no rollers, reduced material, pre-lubricated uprights, and a repositioned handle – allowing for quick and easy adjustments. The cable column markings are laser-etched and numbered on the inside of the uprights, so it’s easy to line up handles.
The FT-3000 2.0 is packed with high-end features, like a magnetic-tipped pin to lock weight in place and an additional pin to secure the trolley. The sturdy frame is double-coated with a chip-resistant, electrostatic powder coating and topped with a matte black finish. The cables are smooth, with aluminum pulleys instead of plastic. An added welded ring makes it easy to attach and remove a carabiner; swap a larger carabiner for different attachments; and use the end piece as an additional grip option. The trainer comes with two polymer D handles, storage pegs for the attachments, four additional 2.75lb incremental weights so you can make smaller weight jumps, and a placard demonstrating different movements, so lifters can get the most out of the machine and assure effective and safe at-home workouts.
Note: Nico, shown in photos, is 5'10".

WEIGHT STACKS
Dual weight stacks top out at 187lbs each, heavy enough for even experienced lifters. Steel plates assure high accuracy. -

What is the maximum and minimum height of a lifter to be able to perform tricep pressdowns and bicep curls without any issues?
Our tallest staff member, Matt (6’5”), was able to get a full range of motion for tricep pressdowns when he held the tricep rope in the middle. We think anyone 6’2” and shorter should have no problem achieving the full range of motion – but if you need to, you can always do pressdowns on your knees. Our shortest staff member, Aimee (5’), can do bicep curls without an issue, too. But you can always stand on a box to increase the range of motion.

What is the difference between the original and the FT-3000 2.0?
The FT-3000 2.0 has many added features and upgrades. Most notably, it has higher positions on the trolley than the previous version. The lowest position is similar, but the smaller trolley, additional holes, and new cable ending on the 2.0 allows for a greater range of motion from the bottom position. The lower-profile trolley also makes it quicker and easier to adjust. The 2.0 also has pre-lubricated uprights; a welded ring makes it easy to attach and remove a carabiner; a pin for added security on the trolley; a new exercise diagram; and a sleeker design without the original curtains.
