To achieve proper depth, we recommend making sure that you have the correct length belt and the chain set up correctly. If your belt is too long, you can set up plates or a platform to obtain the right height for more effective movement.

Yes. The Lat Pulldown and Low Row and Rear Base Stabilizer or the Ares Attachment are required. The Belt Squat attaches to the Lat and Low Row Attachment or Ares Attachment and utilizes its weight; the Belt Squat cannot be used stand-alone. Front foot extensions are recommended for anyone wishing to attach this outside of their racks.
Yes. We recommend testing your belt squat attachment before bolting down your rack, as it trues up the alignment of your cross-members if they are off.

No, you need to get a belt separately. This is just the attachment.
It allows for strength training with minimal tension on your spine, so you can add volume to your squats and train around injuries (shoulder, back, elbow, or wrist).
The cables provide up to 300lbs of tension. Although this may not seem like a heavy load for some, the constant resistance provided by the Belt Squat offers a greater challenge than traditional squatting at comparable weight.
Other than belt squats, you can make a ton of other exercises weighed using this attachment. Try it with pull-ups, hip thrusts, rack pulls, rows, deadlifts, dips, Bulgarian split squats, calf raises, and more.

Hooked it up and started using it last week. Fits snug but not difficult to set up at all. Definitely a must have for anyone with an imagination for leg exercises or who jus gloves squat variations.

I do wish it had a little more range of motion even when you take all of the slack out of the cable, however this is in the ballpark price of lever belt squat attachments amd it is a far better strength curve and feel.
Setup is pretty easy. If you have a 16+30"+ 6 post rack, you can set up the belt squat in the front and still have enough room to squat in rack. This means all you need to do is connect the cable to switch from barbell to belt squats, minimizing transition time.
As for the range of motion, it's easy enough to make some lightweight blocks to stand on, so I'm not going to remove a star just for that at this price point.

If you already spent the money on the machine then get this attachment to complete it. Saves your back and allows you to focus on your legs.

It takes a bit to set up and the pins do not line up the best for the hole is the rack. Seems to be twisted a bit. After it is attached it works great with the chain attachment. The cable is to long for the 4 post and required me getting a different cable. It also is hard to get the weights up. I use a second chain with a loop to push the weight stack up while I attach it at the right height. Agian, once I have it set up works great.
