Using an ab roller is the single best ab exercise whether you are a beginner or advanced, and this is one of the best you can buy. I recommend buying a set of REP's pullup bands to use with the ab roller to allow you to fully extend on the floor and get the most out of the exercise. Just wrap one end of the band around one foot and the other around one handle of the ab roller.
