Why We Made This?
It started with a simple question: Where can we buy a protein bar that has simple premium ingredients, tastes great, low sugar, nothing artificial, and no weird zero-calorie sweeteners? The answer: Not much exists. Most of what's out there is either high in sugar or swaps it out with what we'd call "experimental" sugar substitutes. There are also lots of bars out there with big wads of protein wrapped in all sorts of stuff that's hard to call food. We didn't want that, so one of REP Fitness’s founders, Ryan, asked his wife (who enjoys cooking) to help formulate something. She had made “protein balls” before from almond butter, and so they worked together to tweak that recipe until they were happy with the results. The Purist Bar was born.
