A small amount of side-to-side play is normal and should feel minimal during use. When dipping, your bodyweight presses into the cups, which naturally stabilizes the attachment.
If you notice more movement than expected, it’s usually coming from the rack itself rather than the dip attachment. 2x2 upright systems can have more sway compared to heavier 3x3 racks.
If you are attaching the dip attachment to the front of your rack, we highly recommend bolting down the rack to increase the stability of your power rack.
The handle width will vary from 18.3” at the narrowest point (toward the rack) to 24” at the widest point (away from the rack).
