ADD-ON
Introducing the Adonis™ cable tower. Meticulously crafted through customer insights, an unwavering commitment to our pillars of innovation and value, and decades of expertise both in design and lifting. Our Colorado-based engineering team has made the best cable tower you’ll ever put your hands on.
Transform your space with the Adonis™ cable tower – offering unparalleled versatility in one functional cable system. The Adonis™ cable towers, available in both plate-loaded and selectorized options, are sleek, low-profile cable machines. They can function as stand-alone units, seamlessly extend your 5000 or 4000 Series power rack or rig, or integrate effortlessly with REP's Modular Storage System. The Adonis™ cable tower is the first of its kind, featuring a 1:1 ratio (20lbs feels like 20lbs) for the lat pulldown and low row feature and a 2:1 ratio (20lbs feels like 10lbs) for the adjustable trolley. The plate-loaded Adonis™ cable tower features built-in stainless-steel weight horns with a max loadable capacity of 360lbs. The selectorized Adonis™ cable tower has a 210lbs weight stack of machine-finished, hot-rolled, steel plates for consistent, durable weight, plus stainless-steel weight horns to add even more weight. Easily adjust the weight stack with a magnetized pin. Add more resistance to either version with resistance bands on the integrated band pegs up to the max capacity of 450lbs. The Adonis™ cable tower comes with one pair of 1.25lb and a pair of 2.5lb plates accented by a Grecian pattern -- a nod to the mythology that inspired the equipment's name. Thirty-four different cable positions allow you to maximize your range of motion, and patent-pending, plastic lined trolleys are easy to adjust with one hand.
The cables are made from high-quality, galvanized wire with a raw steel core. The pulleys are made from smooth, durable, strong aluminum, and the front pulley has a 180-degree swivel for versatility. The heavy-duty 3x3” 11-gauge steel base and uprights (front and back) allow you to maximize functionality by facilitating attachment connections and offering space-save storage solutions. Laser-cut numbering on the front upright makes it easy to find the desired position. The Adonis™ cable tower comes with a telescoping footplate, with seven adjustments to brace against during low rows, and a pair of knurled steel D-handles, hard-chrome lat pulldown bar, and low row bar. It’s also compatible with a wide assortment of additional cable attachments. Full-length metallic black shrouds with a recessed, stainless-steel REP logo are included. The shrouds feature a laser-cut pegboard with pegs (pair of 4" pegs included) for storage of small attachments and add-on weights. The Adonis™ cable tower is finished with a premium metallic black powder coat which provides durability and an upgraded aesthetic. You can switch from a plate-loaded system to a selectorized system with the conversion kit. You can also add the Pegasus™ attachment, a premier seat and upright attachment, to assist with exercises like lat pulldowns, sit-ups, chest supported rows and more.
Note: All Adonis™ configurations need some kind of lateral support, so if your setup doesn't provide that, make sure you add a base. A stand-alone Adonis™ and a single-sided Adonis™ - With Storage need a base.

The Adonis™ is for the home or commercial gym owner who wants a lat pulldown and low row, while also gaining some of the features of a functional trainer, all in one piece of equipment. It is also a premium addition due to its thick powder coating and metallic black finish; 5000 Series holes; full-length metallic black shrouds; and rack extension options. The unit is laser-cut and robot-welded for a clean look.
A 1:1 ratio means 20lbs on the cable creates 20lbs of resistance. These are also called single-pulley machines. A 2:1 ratio means 20lbs feels like 10lbs. These are also called double-pulley machines. A 2:1 ratio is great for functional training, when you want a faster-traveling cable. Think: more explosive exercises, quicker movements. That’s why we use that for the functional trainer aspect of the Adonis™. The 1:1 ratio is better for slower, strength-focused exercises, like heavy lat pulldowns. The Adonis™ offers both options for ultimate versatility.
The trolley has a maximum usable height of 79” and a minimum usable height of 14”. For a higher attachment point, you can use the lat pulldown cable (88.8"), and for a lower attachment point, you can use the low row cable (10.8").
The maximum usable weight on the cable system is 450lbs on both the plate-loaded and selectorized options, including the weight stack, weight plates distributed evenly, and band resistance. It feels like 450lbs for the lat pulldown and low row with a 1:1 ratio and feels like 225lbs through the trolley handle with a 2:1 ratio. The minimum usable weight for this machine is 10lbs for the trolley. The minimum usable weight for the lat pulldown and low row is 20lbs.
The Adonis™ has undergone testing by REP staff members with heights ranging from 4' 11" to 6'5", all of whom successfully performed tricep pressdowns and bicep curls with complete range of motion. For a breakdown on height recommendations, check out our blog.
We do not recommend this as the Adonis™ cable tower and Athena™ would not be directly aligned with one another. We recommend either a dual Adonis™ or dual Athena™ setup for those looking to create a larger cable crossover.
No. The selectorized weight stack of the Adonis™ is non-upgradable. The weight stack combined with plate loaded headplate offers maximum additional weight loading without having increased height or losing cable travel by adding extra selectorized plates.
The 3x3" upright and 1" hole construction makes the Adonis™ compatible with 5000 Series attachments, such as the premier Pegasus™ attachment (seat and upright attachment) and Dip Station. Note: If you want to attach the Adonis™ to your rack, it is not compatible with the Globe Front Mount Pull-Up Bar. The Adonis™ can be attached in parallel to or in line off the back of your rack and cannot be mounted perpendicularly.
On plate-loaded equipment, you change the weight by adding plates onto weight horns. On selectorized equipment, you change the weight using a pin and weight stack.
The cable travel from the trolley handle is 108” and is 54” from the lat pulldown and low row component.
The weight capacity maximum is 450lbs, including the weight stack weight, with weights distributed evenly, and band resistance.
The Adonis™ cable tower includes the Adonis™, a pair of steel D-handles, a knurled, hard-chrome lat pulldown bar, a low row bar, one pair of 1.25lb micro-plates accented by a Grecian pattern (a nod to the mythology that inspired the equipment's name), a pair of 2.5lb micro-plates for small weight jumps and a pair of 4" pegs. You will need to add the base if you are doing a stand-alone unit. Maximize the functionality with optional attachments, such as the premier Pegasus™ attachment (seat and upright attachment) or cable attachments.
No, but it is highly recommended. Using a bench and Leg Roller might result in an unbalanced feel. With a Leg Roller pair, they must be mounted at different heights. We will be making a dual leg roller soon for those who do not want the Pegasus™ attachment.
Every Adonis™ needs some type of lateral support. You need a base for a stand-alone or single-sided Adonis™ - with Storage configuration.
No, it is not necessary to bolt the Adonis™ to the ground. While there is an option to bolt it down for extra stability through the base, the base alone provides sufficient support . When attached to a rack, the tower has lateral support through the crossmembers/Rear Base Stabilizer 2.0 and pull-up bar, eliminating the need for a base or bolting down. However, it is important to note that for a stand-alone or single-sided Adonis™ - with Storage configuration, the base is required.
The weight capacity of each peg board on the Adonis™ cable tower is 150lbs.
The Adonis™ cable tower frame has a lifetime warranty. Pulleys, cables, and pop-pins have a one-year warranty.
The Adonis™ ships partially assembled. Assembly takes approximately four to five hours with two people. Two people are required for assembly, as the parts are large and heavy. The pulleys and cables do not come preassembled.
If you attach this to a non-REP rack or rig, we cannot guarantee compatibility due to machining/manufacturing differences. However, the Adonis™ cable tower can be a stand-alone unit.
