What are the four ingredients in this protein powder?

Dutch Chocolate: Grass-fed whey protein isolate, organic cocoa processed with alkali, organic stevia (Rebaudioside A, a highly purified extract from the stevia plant that's used as a natural, calorie-free sweetener), sunflower lecithin (a natural, non-GMO emulsifier that improves mixability and supports brain health, digestion, and cell function). Unlike soy lecithin, sunflower lecithin is free from GMOs and often preferred by those avoiding soy-based ingredients. 




Vanilla: Grass-fed whey protein isolate, natural flavor, organic stevia (Reb A), sunflower lecithin. "Natural flavor" might sound vague, but there's nothing shady about it. It simply refers to a proprietary blend of flavor compounds sourced from plants, fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, or animal products. Extracted through methods like distillation, fermentation, or roasting, these flavors enhance taste naturally—without artificial additives.

What is "isolate whey protein powder" and how is that different from whey concentrate?

Whey protein isolate is a highly refined form of whey protein that contains at least 90% protein by weight. The term "isolate" refers to the additional processing that removes most of the fat, lactose, and carbs, making it a purer and more digestible protein source. This makes it ideal for athletes, lifters, and anyone looking for a lean protein with minimal extras. Compared with whey concentrate, isolate has higher protein content (90%+ vs. 70-80%), lower lactose, and less fat and carbs, making it easier to digest and a great choice for muscle recovery. It also absorbs faster, making it especially effective for post-workout nutrition. If you want a clean, high-protein option without excess fillers, whey isolate is one of the best choices.
