In addition, the 2.0s are as much as 21% thinner than REP's original sport plates, depending on the weight, so you can fit even more on your bar for heavy lifts. We accomplished this by adding a larger stainless-steel weight disc in addition to a zinc-coated stainless-steel insert, for added durability that doesn’t increase the width. The aesthetics were updated too; the black rubber is accented with raised, colored lettering and lines for a clean, modern look. The 2.0s also have a more accurate weight tolerance -- from 3% to 2%.
