FAQS
-
How many square feet can the Rubber Flooring Glue cover?
One gallon will cover 90SQFT (just shy of a 25’x4’ roll of flooring).
-
How do I know which adhesive I need?
If you know the flooring will be a permanent piece of the room you are installing it in, you may want to use the glue. The double-sided tape will also work to hold the flooring in place but is suitable for less permanent setups.
-
What do I need to apply the Rubber Flooring Glue?
Use a notched trowel for the adhesive. We recommend a 1/16” square (1.5mm) notch trowel.
-
How do I prep my floors before using the glue?
Ensure that all surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, oil, and any loose material. Any cracks or holes in the flooring should be filled. The surface should be smooth and level to ensure proper adhesion.
-
Does it need to be a certain temperature to apply the glue?
Yes. Apply at temperatures above 60℉ and below 90℉.
-
How long do I have between putting the adhesive down and rolling out the flooring?
Install the flooring onto the adhesive within 30 minutes for best results.
-
What should I do if the adhesive starts to skin over before applying the flooring?
If the adhesive begins to skin over, you may need to apply a new layer to ensure a fresh, wet surface for the flooring. Work in smaller sections to manage the working time and avoid this issue.
-
How should I store the glue?
Store the glue in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures up to one year. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use to maintain its effectiveness.
-
What is the warranty?
No warranty.
