Lift heavier for more reps with the assistance of Lifting Straps. Quickly and easily slip these straps around your wrist joint to help connect your wrists and hands to the bar or handle. They feature excess material that is intended to also wrap around the equipment. This allows you to not solely rely on your grip; your wrists can bear some of the weight, too.
REP’s Lifting Straps are tough – made from strong cotton for max grip support – but they’re comfortable to wear, with neoprene padding against the wrists. Lifting Straps are small, lightweight (weighing just 0.09lbs per strap), and easy to just throw in your gym bag, taking up minimal space. Straps are 20.5” long and 1.5” wide. They come in three colors: black, red, or white. All straps come with a white REP logo on the black pad.

Wrist wraps are secured around the wrist joint to support it, typically during heavy presses (think of powerlifters maxing out on bench). Straps also wrap around your wrists, but they have excess material that is intended to also wrap around the equipment – connecting your hands to the bar or handle. This allows you to not solely rely on your grip; your wrists can bear some of the weight, too. You most typically use wraps for push exercises and straps for pull exercises; you wouldn’t need a strap for a press (although some lifters like the support of wraps for pulls).
Lifting straps are longer and require one end to loop through the other, which can allow for a tighter, more secure grip. Olympic/speed straps are shorter and feature a single closed-loop design. This allows for a safer and more instant release of the bar, which can be more beneficial for quick-release movements like snatches.
