What a year! As we look back on 2023, it’s hard not to feel like this was REP’s best year yet – and that’s thanks to you for choosing us to join you on your health and fitness journey. Here’s a quick look at some of the 2023 highlights that have us beaming.
Our Team
The REP team continues to grow, now with 150 people strong. Our California and Pennsylvania showrooms continue to make it easy to try equipment before you buy it, and our Colorado headquarters continues to innovate new and exciting products.
This year, we spread our wings internationally, touching down in the Philippines and Japan. But that's not all – we've teamed up with the Fitness Superstore, the UK’s largest specialty fitness retailer, opening the gates for REP products to fill gyms in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
This collaboration kickstarted the launch of REP across all of Europe, making our versatile, top-notch gear even more accessible globally.
New Products
It was a massive year for innovation at REP, with a long list of new and exciting products. One big release was our full lineup of barbells. These bars were more than 10 years in the making – the fusion of customer insights, rigorous testing, thousands and reps by different types of athletes, and our decades of experience in both lifting and designing gym equipment. This collection spans intro to top-tier Olympic, powerlifting, specialty, and mixed-use bars.
We also released:
- the BlackWing™ Adjustable Bench (the ultimate, high-quality, adjustable, FID bench with ZeroGap™ technology);
- the Arcadia™ compact functional trainer (REP’s first functional trainer designed by our Colorado engineering team from the ground up);
- the versatile Utility Seat attachment;
- the Wall-Mounted Athena™ (a low-profile cable attachment that is integrated into a 500 Series wall-mount fixed rack);
- USA-Made Equalizer Plates (or highest-quality, cast-iron Olympic plates);
- new Commercial Rig configurations;
- the QuickDraw™ Adjustable Dumbbells;
- and we kicked off our new apparel line -- tights, pants, shorts, shirts, caps, and hoodies.
Yeah, we’ve been busy. But we’re not even close to slowing down.
We also launched our innovative, online 3D Rack Builder, which makes it easy to build out a custom rack, rig, or cable attachment exactly how you want it – and see a 3D rendering in your space as you go. Your rack, your way.
Athletes, Events, and Charity
In 2023, we also paired up an exciting lineup of inspirational athletes and ambassadors, including George Karlaftis with the Kansas City Chiefs football team; fitness trainer Claire P. Thomas; influencer Taylor Dilk; former volleyball Olympian Taylor Sander; home decor blog Frills and Drills; and American country pop artist Taylor Sanders.
We also were excited to be involved with some incredible events. REP had a booth at the Arnold Sports Festival.
We also worked with Forging Youth Resilience, a nonprofit that connects youth with fitness programs and mentorships. We raised $10,000 for the nonprofit with a burpees challenge (that’s a lot of burpees). You helped us donate money to three other veteran charities, too, raising $50,000 for the Gary Sinise Foundation; $25,000 for the First Responder's Children's Foundation; and $25,000 for Folds of Honor.
Always Fun
At REP, we work as hard as we play, so we’re always having fun, too. We had a blast testing our QuickDraw™ Adjustable Dumbbells by dropping them from various heights, including the Colorado headquarters’ roof.
