EASY INSTALLATION
Simply bolt the crossmembers onto your PR-5000 rack.
A set of four crossmembers, set of four uprights, a logo plate crossmember, a pull-up bar of your choice, a pair of J-cups of your choice, and a pair of safeties of your choice. This will create a basic, four-post power rack. Add any additional attachments you want. For a basic, six-post power rack (with weight storage), you will need an extra pair of uprights, a set of four 16” crossmembers, and weight horns.
There are various benefits of stainless steel. Some benefits include high corrosion resistance, durability/wear resistance, and a highly premium look.
While stainless steel is highly corrosion resistant, we do not recommend placing it outdoors and subject to variable weather. It is best placed indoors and requires very minimal upkeep.
Stainless steel is a premium grade of steel that is naturally corrosion resistant and needs no powder-coating. On the other hand, REP's raw clear coat products are made of standard carbon steel, and are hand-ground then coated with a clear powder coat to protect the surface from rust. While both great options, stainless steel will offer the most protection from corrosion.
Compared to standard carbon steel, stainless steel is a much more expensive raw material. In addition to the raw material being more expensive, it also requires lots of post-processing to ensure the appearance is perfect at the end of production. REP's stainless steel goes through multiple polishing and cleaning operations to ensure a near perfect surface finish inside and out.
Yes! Even though stainless steel doesn’t have an external coating that adds thickness, REP has specified a custom tube size that’s slightly larger and exactly matches the size of REP's standard uprights and crossmembers that are powder-coated. Because of this, all rack attachments (including functional trainer trolleys) work as well if not better on stainless steel uprights and crossmembers.
No, magnets and magnetic attachments will not work with the stainless steel crossmembers.
